HOW WE EVOLVED
As Indigenous professionals, we began to notice people seeking new ways to support Indigenization in business and industrial environments. We saw many people looking for ways to engage professionally in Truth and Reconciliation work. We noticed some work occurring without dedicated time or meaningful engagement with Indigenous Communities. With growing calls and requirements for Indigenous inclusion on projects, of all shapes and sizes, more pressure is being placed on Indigenous Communities to respond to requests. This is where Porttris Consulting Group saw an opportunity to support Communities and industry. Working collaboratively, Porttris Consulting Group effectively facilitates Community connections and supports industry to meet broader organizational and societal goals while also meeting the needs of projects’ specific deliverables.
